Peter Cameron

Peter Cameron of Dalhousie was a gifted athlete before a tragic car accident in 1982 nearly brought an end to his athletic career. Determined to compete again, he embraced wheelchair sports. In 1992, he participated in the Barcelona Paralympic Games in wheelchair tennis after being ranked No. 1 in Canada. Cameron excelled in national wheelchair basketball, winning most valuable player and all-star designations as well as being the player-coach for the Moncton wheelchair basketball team.
